Join creative minds for a conversation about how to develop mutually beneficial relationships that balance corporate business objectives with top-notch design. Wayne Vieira, SVP, Design/Creative at (add)ventures and Brett Gerstenblatt, Vice President, Executive Creative Director at CVS Health, will share how a creative firm and a Fortune 100 corporation partner build successful campaigns with a foundation in design-thinking. This discussion will take place over lunch and is followed by social networking on the rooftop deck at (add)ventures.

Wayne Vieira

(add)ventures

Wayne directs all aspects of (add)ventures’ client partners’ design projects, including branding, advertising campaigns, print and electronic publications, collateral materials, websites and interactive media. His expertise helps clients effectively achieve their marketing and branding goals through visual communications.

Before joining (add)ventures, Wayne was an art director for a medical publishing company where he oversaw several monthly national trade publications and led the design for the company’s trade show and sales collateral needs. With a background in packaging design, advertising and marketing collateral, Wayne has more than 20 years of experience in design and production. He earned his bachelor’s degree of fine arts in illustration at Rhode Island School of Design, where he has served as an adjunct professor for continuing education since 1997. He is a graduate of Leadership Rhode Island.

Brett Gerstenblatt

CVS Health

Brett has led the development of corporate branding, marketing and communications programs for progressive companies for more than 15 years. He has advised C- suite executives and collaborated with leadership at a broad range of organizations including nonprofits, startups and Fortune 500s, helping them pursue new strategies, respond to competitive challenges and adapt to changing environments. Currently he is a Vice President, Executive Creative Director at CVS Health. He works with executives and senior leaders to ensure the company’s purpose, strategy and values are being expressed properly and consistently every day. Partnering with internal and external agencies, he leads the ideation and implementation of brand identity systems, marketing campaigns and customer experiences to extend the influence and impact of the largest pharmacy innovation company in the United States.

Brett completed his senior thesis at the Rhode Island School of Design and studied abroad at the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Arnhem and the University of Haifa. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Communications from the Hartford Art School, University of Hartford. Brett enjoys the arts, pop culture, training for and competing in triathlons and playing tennis with family and friends. He and his wife live in Barrington with their two children.
