Mary Beth Amaral
Creative Director and Lead Designer
As the Creative Director and Lead Designer at Linchpin, Mary Beth oversees our creative department. Her user-centered design approach is fueled by her passion for creating intuitive interfaces that meld design and technology. During her time here at Linchpin, Mary Beth has designed websites, applications, and user portals from conception to implementation across a wide variety of industries.
With a print design foundation, Mary Beth honed her skills early on, shifting her focus to user experience and user interface design. Before coming to Linchpin, she gained valuable ecommerce and marketing experience working as an in-house web designer at a luxury retailer, in addition to experience as a digital designer for a business intelligence leader in the pharmaceutical industry.
Mary Beth holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, a minor in Art History, and a degree in Web and Interactive Design from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. As an active member of the local WordPress community, she is currently the lead organizer of the WordPress Rhode Island Meetup group.
Over the past decade, Aaron Ware has worked with leading brands, start-ups and everyone in between to develop innovative, highly interactive, feature-rich websites, high volume ecommerce stores, and web apps. Aaron is the owner of Linchpin, as well as a full stack engineer with an enterprise level knowledge of PHP and WordPress.
Aaron has spoken at numerous WordPress focused conferences on topics including business, development, and customer satisfaction. Prior to starting Linchpin, Aaron spent nearly 10 years in the automotive industry creating content management systems and robust online experiences for ADP, Ford, Subaru, Mini of North America, and hundreds of automotive dealerships throughout North America.
