Join us for the next Clambake in December - a special holiday event! We’ll enjoy Rhode Island-made spirited cocktails in this cozy spot on the river in Pawtucket with our friends at Rhode Island Spirits.
Newly opened in the early 2019 by co-owners Kara Larson and Cathy Plourde, Rhode Island Spirits are the makers of Rhodium gin, vodka, and limoncello. Yum!
All are organic spirits crafted with botanicals grown and harvested in the Blackstone Valley. The tasting room offers water views of the Blackstone River for guests to visit and sample spirits and cocktails. Kara and Cathy will give Clambake attendees a tour of the distillery process.
Let’s celebrate this year’s Holidays with the RI design community!
TOUR THE DISTILLERY
Join owners Kara Larson and Cathy Plourde to tour the distillery and learn about their distillery process. Kara and Cathy will share why they went down this adventure and discuss how they hope to keep spreading the distilled spirit!
RAFFLES AND BANGLES
On December 10, we’ll raffle off some sweet swag - including limited edition “LOVE IT. LIVE IT. DESIGN IT.” bags and Rhodium spirits! Add a donation to your Registration (or click here if you’d like to support but can’t make it) - and be entered to win!
Clambake is a gathering for designers, creatives, and those who like design and want to know more. It’s a time to get together, network, and hear about some of the cool new design work that is happening in RI. Normally, two presenters from two different design disciplines present each month. Presentations are generally 15 minutes followed by Q&A. * No clams at the event (unless it’s August), just a great mix of design! * And holiday cheer and fun stuff in December.
Since 2018, Clambake has been traveling around RI. Are there any designers/creatives in RI you’d like to nominate to be a Clambake speaker? Any cool spaces in RI we should host a Clambake? Let us know!
Free and open to the public. Food and drinks provided.
These events are being recorded and photographed. By attending, you give your consent to be photographed, filmed, taped, and/or recorded.
