Presented by the Designers Ball committee, MASKerAID is a lively event put together to bring attention to the *new normal* of mask wearing, have some fun with it, and raise funds for those who need well-made face covers during this time. It complements DESIGNxRI’s work on the MASKS RI initiative to unite buyers and suppliers of non-medical grade masks in RI as well as our programmatic work with Rhode Island youth. A portion of the proceeds will go to the RI Department of Education (RIDE) Fund through the RI Foundation.

As COVID-19 impacts the world, wearing face covers has become a critical piece in doing our part to contain the virus. This has created a great demand for well made non-medical grade masks and many designers and makers have taken on the charge. That said, some of our most vulnerable populations have limited access to these more well made products. DESIGNxRI will also be collecting fabric face covers to donate to RIDE who will distribute to families in need.

JOIN THE FUN! Bring your best and most fun mask, face cover and top half to the party.

These events are being recorded and photographed. By attending, you give your consent to be photographed, filmed, taped, and/or recorded.
