Co-Founder / Lead Designer at Anomalous Design Studio
Coming from an international background and having lived all over the world has afforded me an expanded worldview and a familiarity of diverse cultures. Creative pursuits in painting and photography were ways I could document and analyze my surroundings. Being exposed to conditions of severe inequality in the places that I have lived drove me to pursue an education in architecture as a way to use my creative passions for constructive purposes. Spending most of my life in dense urban settings also drove me to be fixated with environmental issues. Within my architectural education I understood the need for sustainability initiatives and explored it as a specialization taking extensive coursework from green building practices to conservation biology and environmental politics. Most of my previous work experience has been with luxury residential projects as well as high end interiors for retail and hospitality at award-winning international firms. This allows me to be familiar with the most current design trends as well as the digital tools used to create the aesthetic. My expertise lies in digital modeling and have been exploring its direct connection to fabrication.
