Designer at Union Studio Architecture & Community Design

 

Vada brings a unique skill set to her position as Designer and Marketing Coordinator. She is an architectural designer, a marketer with strong graphic capabilities, and a highly organized administrator. At Union Studio, Vada fills a valuable role by keeping the office coordinated while she contributes to design teams and marketing projects. Her volunteer work adds another layer of experience: she has served as the emerging professionals director, the editor of the Premises newsletter, and the design awards committee co-chair and is the current 2014 president of the RI Chapter of the American Institute of Architects; is a founding member of the Providence Chapter of Architecture for Humanity; is a planning committee member for Canstruction Rhode Island; and she volunteers for the Providence Preservation Society. Vada holds a Masters of Architecture from the Rhode Island School of Design and a Bachelors of Arts in Physics from Bryn Mawr College.
