Galen Anderson

Intern Architect at Durkee, Brown, Viveiros & Werenfels Architects


Galen Anderson currently works for Durkee Brown Viveiros & Werenfels Architects in Providence, RI.

Originally from Keene, NH, Galen graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon in 2009 and Syracuse University's School of Architecture in 2014. During his time at Syracuse, he was involved with the local Habitat for Humanity chapter, the AIAS, and served for a year as the president of the School of Architecture student government. He was a member of the Syracuse University Board of Academic Ethics and worked part time managing the digitalization of the 100,000 film transparencies in the School of Architecture’s collection.

Galen’s interest in the technological possibilities of design and building information modeling have lead to his proficiency in many different computer programs such as Revit, Dynamo, 3ds Max, AutoCAD, Rhinoceros, Grasshopper, Adobe's Creative Suite, and Cinema 4D.

In his free time, Galen enjoys sailing, alpine skiing, large format photography, biking and hiking.
