Ancient Techniques, Modern Artifacts: A Look into the Process of Creating Cast Iron Cookware

design x RI's tenth anniversary banner image

Come to Nest Homeware’s factory studio and learn about how cast iron cookware is made. This will primarily be a talk, giving a look into the sand casting process using examples of pieces in various stages of completion. We’ll go over the specifics of seasoning science, and de-mystify some of the details with a brief demonstration of how we do things in house, so you can feel empowered to continue the process in your home. There will also be an opportunity to walk away from this event with factory seconds at deep discounts!

Free! RSVP NEEDED!
