Experience Prototyping and other Strategies to Advance Ideas and Make an Impact with BIG DREAMS & OCTO

Experience Prototyping(EP) is for more than finding solutions to problems; if done correctly, it creates an engagement that changes how we think, observe, & influence our world. In today’s world, exploring existing and future states through first-hand active engagement is one of the most powerful ways to gain understanding, buy-in, & insights. Doing so requires attention to moments, often referred to as the Eye of the Duck. Designers of products, systems, and experiences use prototyping in a variety of forms. When we approach experience prototyping with the Eye of the Duck in mind, it helps us understand how to deliver messages or visions, diffuse or pitch ideas, capture bright spots, roadmap behaviors, build knowledge, educate, understand the past and explore the future.
