M.Callahan Studio is centered on creating objects that focus on the beauty and complexity of construction. Our main focus is patchwork quilting, and each piece is made to order with sensitivity to craftsmanship. Patchwork Quilting is a time-honored craft tradition, our work is a culmination of traditional processes and experimentation. The studio was founded in 2011 by Meg Callahan. Nora Mattingly Interiors, LLC is a boutique design and consulting firm specializing in interior design and decoration, as well as furniture and object design. Based in Providence, RI, we work in collaboration with a wide range of esteemed artisans and architects. JohnnyCakes is an interior design studio & retailer based in Providence, RI. Our services include full interior design, style consultations, and procurement. We curate retail offerings including vintage and contemporary home goods, furniture, lighting, and art, as well as unique decor items by regional artisans. JohnnyCakes is a proud supplier of Hudson Valley Lighting Group products and other premium specialty design products; we welcome both private buyers and the trades.

The Creative Reuse Center of RI is a store and studio, specializing in providing reused art and creativity materials to the local arts and education communities.

The Map Center seeks to be a place for curiosity- a retail store selling maps, cartographic art and atlases. We sell framed pieces and also have a studio where we print, mount and frame original and reproduction work.

The ART ANNEX is an arts education center for fiber, paper and book arts! Workshops in weaving, papermaking, experimental book arts and natural dyeing by instructors at the top of their craft.

Our upcoming exhibit opening on September 14th is being curated to celebrate Latino Heritage Month (Sept 15-Oct 15), titled How We Got Here, will focus on the Guatemalan migrants and descendants in Rhode Island. Guatemalans make up the second largest Latino group in RI, with most of them living in the West End neighborhoods in Providence. This exhibit will include stories, artifacts and belongings, art, and other creations by Guatemalans, opening on the eve of Guatemalan Independence Day (Sept 15) and will run until October 15.

Based in Rumford, RI, Myrth is a production porcelain studio that handcrafts elegant, lasting dinnerware and vessels for home and restaurant kitchens. Our high-quality craftsmanship results in long-lasting plateware that combines effortless functionality, enhanced durability, and minimal design to let the food take the focus.

BIG NAZO is an international touring troupe & creature-making studio comprised of fabricators and performing artists who employ a variety of mask and wearable sculpture techniques to create mobile spectacles and audience interactive “creature theatre”.

Parking: BIG NAZO LAB Rocket Mill Studio is in Tower #2 of the Atlantic Mills Building, which has a large parking lot that accommodates shoppers at the Big Top Flea Market that takes place in the building’s basement. 

Accordion Studios is a collective of creative professionals located on the border of the West End/Federal Hill. It houses HB Design & Build, an Architectural Design & Build Firm, Jack Ryan Architect, an Architecture Firm, and Superette Studio, a branding and interior design firm.

Parking: Large parking lot with plenty of space! Enter the parking lot from Washington St, across the street from 397 Washington St. Ours is the grey building with a green door and the number 400.

Founded by Matthew Soule, SouleWork is a furniture studio specializing hardwood furniture and lighting.

Parking: There is access to ample parking off of Elmwood by taking Bissell Street. Once you turn onto Bissell you will be my logo on the mill building at the end of the road. People are welcome to park at the loading dock at it will be after hours and there is additional parking in the dirt lot.

“Occasionally Here” is home to Nest Homeware, Ares Iron, Studio Joeun, HBMK Studio, Rue Sakayama Photography, and James Sawyer Bike Mechanic. From furniture prototyping to cast iron cookware production, from custom design build solutions to portrait and product photography, it’s here that each of these businesses comes to make their work.
