Dara Benno is a strategic designer addressing environmental and social challenges through systems thinking, participatory workshops, and hands-on making. Drawing from a background in sculpture, linguistics, and industrial design, Dara develops research-driven tools, models, and experiences that support community resilience and connection. Her work spans food systems, climate adaptation, harm reduction, and the circular economy — yielding research-backed critical design interventions people can actually use. Dara is adjunct faculty at RISD and has exhibited internationally at Dutch Design Week and FASHIONCLASH Festival.
