DESIGN WEEK RI is the annual celebration of design ~ featuring Rhode Island designers, creatives and entrepreneurs!
Each year, DESIGN WEEK RI offers talks, tours, panel discussions, parties, and more that showcase the design talent across Rhode Island – featuring and hosted by our many partners and design friends. Be part of this annual celebration of design in Rhode Island!
For the past 10 years, DESIGNxRI has organized an annual celebration of Design in Rhode Island known as DESIGN WEEK RI! This eagerly anticipated week-long celebration serves as a platform to raise public awareness about the diverse range of design and creative businesses operating in Rhode Island, encompassing both emerging talents and established industry leaders. This programming offers a unique opportunity for designers to exhibit their work, share their stories, and connect with the amazing creative ecosystem that Rhode Island has to offer.
In addition, this year is the 10th annual DESIGN WEEK RI and DESIGNxRI’s 10th Birthday Bash. To celebrate the organization and DESIGN WEEK RI’s graduation into double digits, we are putting on a couple special events.
A Decade of Design in Rhode Island : DESIGNxRI’s 10th Anniversary Exhibition
Rhode Island is a destination for world class design, and we’re excited to feature the work that best exemplifies the high caliber of creativity produced within our state at A Decade of Design in Rhode Island, our 10th Anniversary DESIGN WEEK exhibition.
This exhibit will showcase the vibrant design talent across Rhode Island spanning the past ten years, a diverse and expansive display of works from disciplines such as architecture and graphic design to industrial design and fashion! The opening for A Decade of Design in Rhode Island will happen during DESIGN WEEK RI (Sep 18th-23rd).
