The Blended House Approach to Branding: Developing sub-brands at Brown University

Participate in a refreshing discussion on Brown’s blended house approach in the development of sub-brands within the architecture of the existing parent brand. Hosted by the Office of University Communication’s Creative Services team, you will learn how we work with academic and administrative units across campus to plan and execute visual identities which include Brown’s reputation, key message development, digital marketing and social media approaches, multimedia engagement, and web and digital strategy. We will walk you through a series of visual identities ranging from full-scale sub brands of centers to time-sensitive identities for anniversary events. You’ll learn how, in collaboration with other teams, we develop and deliver professional, on-brand communications for units around the University.
After our presentation, we will leave room for discussion followed by an interactive game.
