[CANCELED] Intro to Visual Thinking Strategies

design x RI's tenth anniversary banner image

Join us on Friday, September 19, from 12-1pm, for an introduction to Visual Thinking Strategies (VTS). Visual Thinking Strategies is a facilitation methodology that uses art or visual stimuli to encourage group participation and critical thinking. It is a methodology that fosters inclusivity, psychological safety, and collaboration in the workplace.

This 60-minute workshop is designed for anyone who leads teams, facilitates discussions, and/or coordinates between diverse groups. You’ll learn how to adapt your communication style to be inclusive to different audiences, using evidence-based reasoning to ensure all voices contribute to a shared understanding. No prior experience with VTS is necessary!

Led by CoDesign Collaborative in partnership with Catherine Clarke, Experience Designer at Fidelity Investments and a Hailey Group VTS@Work-certified facilitator, this hour-long workshop is not just for design and creative professionals—VTS has proven value across industries, including business, healthcare, and education, and helps leaders to unlock their team’s collective potential.

Liana has a BFA in Photography from Lesley University College of Art and Design (née The Art Institute of Boston at Lesley University) and currently lives in Providence, RI, with her husband, daughter, and hound, Prince.
