EQUITYxDESIGN Cohort Discussion

The EQUITYxDESIGN cohort, organized by DESIGNxRI, is a multi-month program created to lead designers, design businesses, and those who participate in the design economy to understand and build Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion processes in their work. Mobilizing an educational arc by Creative Reaction Lab, the cohort empowers current and upcoming industry leaders to practice design with consideration of equity. This event wraps up the inaugural cohort, with participants sharing what they’ve learned and worked on during the course of the program and an open discussion on best practices and lessons learned. The 2022 EQUITYxDESIGN cohort includes leaders from Studio Quiche, DxRI, RISD, Nail Communications, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Rhode Island, Goode Landscape Studio, North Street Creative, Innovation Studio, FAVOR, Oomph, (add)ventures, Big Dreams, and Taste Design
