Interactive Printing with Lizzie $our
Join local artist Lizzie $OUR for a Bring-Your-Own paper/clothing screen printing workshop. Come watch, interact, and learn from Lizzie’s process and leave with one of her original designs.
A few different tables will be set up as stations with different silk screens with original designs. You will have an opportunity to print each design yourself or you can witness a live silk-screen print of your choosing on paper or on a garment.
Elizabeth Jweinat
Elizabeth Jweinat (Lizzy $OUR) is a multimedia artist from Providence, RI who specializes in murals, furniture, printmaking, apparel, and various other mediums. She’s currently in her senior year attending the Rhode Island School of Design as an undergraduate studying sculpture.
She has been affiliated with organizations such as AS220 and New Urban Arts since she was in early high school as a youth intern working on her portfolio. Lizzy exhibits her work in multiple galleries throughout the city while also helping curate events such as galleries and art markets, including installing and uninstalling artwork.
Lizzy $OUR is a one person business, team, and designer who advocates for public art. Public art has been something very important to her since she was a young artist and has become one of her biggest passions developing into her career. Lizzy has created around 10 different murals so far composed by herself, and about 7 which are permanent installations. She has been awarded grants from Rhode Island State Council of the Arts (RISCA) to pursue large projects like these.
